BEYOND TIRED: Assessing your tiredness
Thursday Sep 28, 2023
Thursday Sep 28, 2023
On this episode, Alan introduces us to our "Beyond Tired" series, where listeners are invited to assess their tiredness levels and its sources. We delve into the three types of fatigue:
- "lowercase t" tiredness, which is an expected short-term fatigue that requires a planned break;
- "UPPERCASE T" tiredness, indicating extended fatigue without a reversal plan, prompting serious reflection;
- "Beyond tired", a profound state nearing burnout, often accompanied by numbness and possibly depression.
Alan emphasizes the importance of medical checks and therapy, especially for those experiencing the latter two types.
The episode also highlights a holistic evaluation grid presented by Jesus, encouraging listeners to evaluate which area of their life – body, mind, relationships, heart, or soul – is causing the most fatigue.
Which tiredness level are you experiencing, and which life area is your primary fatigue source. Journal your reflections for deeper insight and actionable steps.
